OKKIO USB 4K 16 mm f/5.6 is a Tecnomed Italia 4K USB medical camera with a Sony IMX415 sensor, built-in microphone and MagnoCam software, supplied as standard. The 16 mm f/5.6 configuration provides 2.5× optical magnification and up to 5× digital zoom to document the clinical field and treatment details.
Designed for recording and documentation across medical and surgical specialties, OKKIO also supports dental treatment documentation and clinical case presentations. In the dental practice it is used as an extraoral camera, recording the operating field from outside the mouth alongside intraoral cameras.
Autofocus and a 650–750 mm working distance
Choose autofocus or adjust focus manually in the software. The camera operates at a working distance of 650–750 mm and offers both automatic and manual exposure control. A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video.
USB connection to Windows and Mac
Connect the camera to your Windows PC or Mac via USB. For basic recording, use the computer’s native camera application; no dedicated recording software or separate power supply is required. MagnoCam is included for managing clinical images on Windows.
MagnoCam: from image capture to the patient record
With the included MagnoCam software for Windows, you can view live video, capture still images and save recordings to the patient gallery. Keep photos, videos and annotations together in the patient’s imaging record, and export or synchronise the archive as needed. An included TWAIN driver allows images to be acquired directly within compatible practice management software.
Dentists can review images to compare treatment stages, explain clinical findings to patients and present cases to colleagues.
Mounting on the dental treatment light
Fit the camera to the dental treatment light using the magnetic mounting system. It can also be fitted to lights from other manufacturers using the specified mounting arrangement. An adhesive magnet, screws and installation tools are included. The OKKIO arm assemblies shown under related products are available separately.
