This face mask is made from a high-tech water-repellent fabric designed to stay clean for longer and to help protect against contaminated biological splashes. One of its main advantages is that it is autoclavable at 134°C, making it especially suitable for professional medical environments where hygiene and practical reprocessing are essential.
The fabric is water-repellent and allows aerosols produced by rotating instruments and cooling sprays, as well as biological and chemical splashes, to slide off the surface more easily. This helps keep the material cleaner for longer and provides the waterproof protection required in medical settings.
The inner side of the fabric contains silver particles with biocidal action, giving the material antibacterial properties. Proteins are denatured and bacterial metabolism is destroyed. The fabric is also thermoregulating and, when worn directly against the skin, helps maintain body temperature while providing a feeling of comfort.
From a practical point of view, the mask can be worn again shortly after washing because it dries very quickly and does not need ironing. It is also resistant up to 40 washes, while maintaining the functional characteristics of the fabric.
