Head Tracking Mouse with voice dictation, wireless, macOS compatible

Intera System for macOS with three pedals is Tecnomed Italia’s wireless wearable mouse for dentists, for controlling the computer during clinical work in the dental practice. Move the cursor with the wearable tracking module, use the foot controls to interact with the computer and dictate clinical notes instead of typing.

Position the tracking module to suit your movement

Position the tracking module to suit the movement you find most comfortable. The module translates your movement into cursor control and can be worn in different positions on the body.

A custom ring mount worn under the glove

Dr Barbara Sabiu used her own 3D printer to create a ring mount that holds the module on her finger under the glove. In this configuration, hand movement controls the cursor. This is one example of adapting the module’s position to suit the user’s preferred movement. The ring mount is Dr Sabiu’s own creation and is not supplied with Intera System.

Wearable cursor control and foot controls

The FK801MTRM version is compatible with macOS. The three pedals provide right-click, left-click and speech recognition activation. The wearable module moves the cursor in response to the user’s chosen movement.

Use the tracking module and foot control to view case images, select documents and browse folders. Dictate notes using the voice input function.

Voice dictation for clinical notes

Two microphones are included for voice input. Activate speech recognition with the foot pedal to dictate information into the patient’s clinical record while retaining cursor control through the tracking module.

Less reliance on the mouse and keyboard

Intera System combines motion tracking, foot controls and voice input to access digital content and enter notes, reducing the need to switch to the mouse and keyboard during computer use.
