FALKO X5 is a wearable digital magnification system with a built-in battery for dental, medical and surgical applications. These digital loupes are designed to accommodate changes in working distance during clinical procedures. Continuous autofocus keeps the image in focus throughout the 25–50 cm range, without the need for a personalised working distance.
Continuous autofocus from 25 to 50 cm
As the clinician changes position and moves closer to or further from the operating field, FALKO X5 continuously adjusts focus within the 25–50 cm range. Move closer for greater detail or further away for a wider view, without manual focus adjustment.
Magnification adapts to working distance
Magnification and autofocus work together: 6× at 25 cm, 5× at 40 cm and 4× at 50 cm. Move between close-up detail and a wider view as your working distance changes, without interrupting the procedure.
The operating field in your headset
The digital camera with autofocus presents a single magnified image in the micro-OLED headset. In dental use, FALKO X5 lets you move from fine detail to a view of the entire mouth and then to direct vision, without lifting the headset.
Integrated, adjustable LED illumination
The LED light is included as standard and produces a circular spot. Adjust the light intensity to suit the procedure, and use the integrated filter to prevent premature composite curing when required.
No custom working distance or optical fitting
FALKO X5 does not require a working distance tailored to the individual user or a personalised optical fitting. The same system can therefore be used by several clinicians in the practice or clinic.
Dental, medical and surgical applications
FALKO X5 provides a magnified view of the operating field for clinical and surgical work within its 25–50 cm working distance range. Dental applications include restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, implant dentistry and oral surgery. The system also supports magnified observation in medical practice and outpatient surgery.
